Starting January 5: New Free Zoom Exercise Program for Osteoporosis

A new (free) four-week online exercise class will begin on Wednesday, January 5, at 3pm ET. It was developed for those who are looking to learn how to strength train and stretch safely with osteoporosis. Studies have shown that resistance, weight-bearing, and impact exercises help to build bone density. It is crucial to learn how to exercise properly because the wrong exercises or improper form can lead to fractures and injury. This class will show you the exercises that should be performed, the exercises that should be modified and the exercises that should be avoided.

You should obtain clearance from your healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise routine. This four-week series will teach you how to strengthen bones and muscles, improve posture and balance and decrease stress. You will need hand weights, a mat, and a resistance band.

If you would like to participate, send an email to caroljmichaels@gmail.com and you will receive a Zoom invite the evening before the class. Class size is limited which enables Carol to see everyone and make modifications. For more information about Carol, please visit www.CarolMichaelsFitness.com.
