If you've been wanting to move more this year, there's no better time to start than now! The Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation (BHOF) has revitalized the Steps to Strong Bones™ program to help you stay motivated and committed to your fitness goals. And the best part? You don't have to make drastic changes to your routine to start seeing some benefits.

In fact, investigators from Columbia University found that 5 minutes of walking every half hour during prolonged periods of sitting can help offset harmful effects. The study showed the 5 minutes of walking every thirty minutes lowered blood pressure and blood sugar! Now that’s a “power move” that sounds manageable.

To keep you on track and motivated, BHOF will be hosting monthly Zoom meetings at 12pm ET on the first Monday of every month where you can connect with like-minded individuals and share your progress. You'll also get the chance to listen to motivational speakers and talk about your experiences on getting motivated to move.
