Joining us for this month’s Steps to Strong Bones is Karin Weinstein, ERYT-500, CMMT, YACEP, CPT. Karin is a Certified Yoga & Meditation Teacher, Personal Trainer & Corrective Exercise Specialist. She has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2008. Karin also specializes in Strength Training for Women as well as Osteoporosis and Fall Risk Prevention using yoga, strength training, and mindfulness to help pre- and post-menopausal women improve and maintain mental and physical resilience as they age. Karin’s passion is helping others move through life on and off the mat with greater ease and resilience.  

The presentation will discuss "Proprioception, Power, and Agility: The Deeper Benefits of Strength Training, Impact Training and Yoga Asana for Osteoporosis". Did you know there are hidden benefits to strength training, impact training, and yoga beyond building strong bones and muscles, and improving flexibility?
