In the busy holiday season, many of us spend much more time in the kitchen. So why not take advantage of that space to fit in some extra movement practice and exercise that can help your bones and joints?! Rebekah Rotstein, founder of Buff Bones®, will guide you through some simple -- and fun -- "movement snacks" to do while waiting for your stuffing to bake and pots to soak. Join us in your kitchen, and have on hand a large pot, a saute pan, a dish towel, and a soap bottle. Get ready to move more and discover how your kitchen can make your body feel better!
This class will teach you how to strengthen bones and muscles, improve posture and balance. You will learn the exercises that should be performed, the exercises that should be modified and the exercises that should be avoided. It is crucial to learn how to exercise properly because the wrong exercises or improper form can lead to injury. Since we are getting into the holiday season, you will learn how to fit in fitness during the busy holiday season. Several time saving exercises will be demonstrated.
The holidays are fun and sometimes stressful. There can be holiday parties, eating temptations, and family obligations, leaving less time for exercise. For those with osteoporosis, it is not wise to take a break from your fitness program and health practices. This presentation will teach you how to live a healthy lifestyle during the busy holiday season. Several time saving exercises will be demonstrated. You will need hand weights, a mat, and a resistance band and will receive a Zoom invite the evening prior to the class.

Join us and learn how you can fine-tune what you’re already doing to improve your bone health and make it even more effective.
